Providing care for an aging family member can sometimes be overwhelming. GreatCall Link is a free app that keeps you informed about the health and safety of senior family members that have a GreatCall device, right on your own smartphone. You can keep up-to-date when you want without disturbing them – helping them stay healthy, safe and independent.

When paired with a GreatCall Jitterbug Phone, GreatCall Splash or Lively Alert:

Weekly summaries based off device’s activity

The same app works on all devices. The GreatCall Link app and a GreatCall Link-enabled device work together to keep the whole family connected, informed and independent.

Dashboard
Open the GreatCall Link app on a smartphone and know immediately if the user’s device (Jitterbug Phone, GreatCall Splash or Lively Wearable) is on. No more wondering if it’s forgotten at home or if it needs to be charged. You’ll even get an alert when the battery reaches critical level, so you can remind them to recharge and remain connected to help.

Alert
Be in the know. Link will send push notifications for selected actions, including when a call is made to 5Star Emergency Services. When you have current information, you’re able to make decisions quickly, allowing you to follow up without delay.

Locator
When the locator feature is enabled, 5Star agents and invited contacts can confirm a Subscriber’s location on a map. In an emergency, this information can be relayed to first responders and save crucial minutes and seconds. Use the locator along with your smartphone’s navigation system to get directions directly to the Subscribers location, without having to call. To maximize the battery performance of the 5Star users device, location information is only updated once every 20 minutes by design. However, the latest location of the device can be retrieved at any time by clicking the "Update Location" button while viewing the map.

Activities
View a list of daily activities to confirm routines are normal. When paired with a GreatCall phone or GreatCall Splash, the app lists recent zone locations, based on information in the Personal Profile, making it easy to see if appointments are being kept or if there is a change in routine.
